Wellscroft Farm sits perched in the hills of Southwestern NH and since 1974 has thrived as one of New England's largest working sheep farms. The farm raises livestock on its 300 acres of forests and pastures and currently maintains a flock of about 200 commercial Dorset-Cross ewes and 20 Boer goats We are located in Epping, NH, a short distance from the seacoast and about 65 miles north of Boston. We raise sheep and goats for the sale of meat, skins and wool. We sell our naturally raised meat animals directly to the public. Our washable sheeins and wool products are sold from our farm shop and by mail We sell purebred, polled, registered Icelandic sheep breeding stock, fleeces, roving, yarn, pelts, rugs, rug yarn, batting, felt and USDA freezer lamb from our family-run farm in New Hampshire. Our sheep and lambs are pasture raised, free of antibiotics and hormones. Our livestock are humanely raised and treated by a veterinarian when required Our small farm is located just outside of the quaint village of Center Sandwich, NH and is home to a flock of registered Fine Fleeced Shetland Sheep who supply us with exquisite fiber used by local handspinners. We also offer registered breeding stock. We are proud members of NASSA flock # 1755 and FFSSA flock #19 Ramblin' Vewe Farm has been in operation since 1987. The farm maintains a flock registered purebred sheep comprised of two breeds: Suffolk and Targhee.
